How to Change the Capacitor in a Ceiling Fan?

It can be done very swiftly by following the given steps:

Step 1: At first, disconnect the power supply by switching off the main circuit breaker in the home distribution board.

Step 2: Now, cut the wires that are connected to the faulty capacitor and remove it.

Step 3: Then take a new capacitor and connect the red wire from the fan to the first terminal of the capacitor and the second terminal with the blue wire.

Step 4: Put a wire nut and electric tap and insert both the wires.

Step 5: Connect the neutral wire (the black color wire) from the fan to the second slot of the wire connector.

Step 6: Now take the neutral and the live wire and connect it to the power supply. Finally, switch ON the primary circuit and test the fan.
